During the period of my internship in Brussels I worked occasionally as a waitress at the “Osteria Bolognese”. While working was born the idea of an original menu and a tablet for orders. The tablets in wood were made with the technique of laser cut, painted to protect the wood from wine stains or oil. The menu includes all the dishes you could choose and the cork indicates the missing plates. We decided to re-use the cups of the bottles sold during the evening. The wooden ordering tablet is useful to explain the type of pasta that the customer choose from the menu. The business cards are printed on the same paper used for setting the tables during lunch time. All the project is made to give a sense of familiarity and warmth typical of the tavern.
